REGENCY SQUARE NAMES NEW GENERAL MANAGER

RICHMOND, VA., January 19, 2005 Regency Square has named Gary Malfroid as its new general manager. He will be responsible for day-to-day center operations and will work closely with Regency Squares marketing director, tenants and the greater community.
Malfroid has been acting general manager for Regency Square and Stony Point Fashion Park since last October. Before that, he spent eight years as operations director for The Mall at Tuttle Crossing in Columbus, Ohio.
He has been with (The Taubman Company/Taubman Centers), which owns Regency Square and Stony Point Fashion Park, since 1981, when he began as the assistant security director for Woodland shopping center in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich.
His professional affiliations include the Building Owners & Managers Association and American Society of Industrial Security.
Regency Square, located at Parham and Quioccasin roads off I-64 (South Exit 181A) in Richmond's West End, features 110 shops and restaurants along with Hecht's, JCPenney and Sears. Shopping hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
